Conor Deane

Hi, I'm Conor Deane. Welcome to my profile!

I like to pursue excellence through discovery, actively seeking dissenting opinions, developing my ability to unlearn by embracing how much I don't know in the pursuit of knowing more, and hopefully develop the kind of vision that sees around corners. This is what gives us the edge and allows us to recognise forthcoming trends before they happen. With well over a decade of digital and PM experience I am a very resourceful, experienced, highly dedicated and creative digital marketing communications strategist possessing a natural curiosity for all things digital & social. I have broad experience of project management, web design, idea creation, graphic & point of sale design, and campaign implementation and management. I am generally uncomfortable with anything that embraces the status quo as I would ideally seek a better way to deliver a better outcome using emerging and current best practices but moreover including the input of my team around me. Conor Deane's Background

Conor Deane's Experience

Director of Digital Strategy - Business Consultant. at Native

September 2010 - November 2011

I had full responsibility for driving the Digital Strategy at Liffey Valley Opel whilst also influencing the overall Digital and Social Media Strategies of the entire group at Windsor Motors. The brief included the upgrading of the PPC Campaigns, SEO, creation of copy, content, and forward strategies in order to gain and retain customers for high ticket goods as well as support services. I created a Customer Interaction Questionnaire (CIQ) to better understand actual end user behaviours so as to influence the upcoming upgrade of the Opel Dealers website using standard industry best practices and legacy market research questions. In one month we got the Facebook page to over 5,000 fans using a robust Brand Affiliated Cause Campaign. To do this we successfully used email marketing, SMS and created a promotional video. The SMS campaign delivered a 10% conversion rate. I created plans and proposals for senior management for the year ahead whilst also running a successful Facebook Ad campaign resulting in up to 300 connections per day in some cases. I designed vehicle wraps, commercial stands, and flyers through to Facebook Ad Graphics whilst also providing guidance and direction to existing commercial artwork. I am fully conversant with Adobe's suite of software for Visual Communications having used it since 1995. Other previous clients have included various politicians across the political spectrum, through to financial services clients. I have liaised with other digital and visual communications agencies with whom I have strong contacts.
